Signature Securities Group Corporation seeks a dedicated Head Trader for our Houston office. We currently have the following exciting opportunity:

Head Trader
In this position, you will engage in the daily sourcing and trading of all taxable fixed income securities and municipal bonds for the sales force while realizing trading profits and fulfilling client investment needs. Other responsibilities include:

• Coordinating, creating and maintaining relationships with numerous securities dealers to determine which traders and portfolio managers are buying and selling and establishing relative value among securities in both primary and secondary markets.
• Assisting in the trading of SBA/USDA whole loans and securitized pools by establishing bid/ask prices and efficiently executing buy/sell orders for bonds at prices that are advantageous.
• Reviewing market commentaries, market trends, new policies and products and staying abreast of current regulatory and government legislative environments.
• Performing as backup OSJ Principal following all regulatory and compliance supervisory guidelines.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Head Trader.
• Series 7, 63 and 24.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg.

Salary $100K - $150K
