Relief For Consumers and Businesses as a Result of COVID-19

Signature Bank is committed to being responsive to our clients’ needs and we are doing all we can to make sure we dedicate our resources to helping our clients and communities who are experiencing hardship during the COVID-19 pandemic. (Updated July 31, 2020). 

  • You may request a forbearance[1] of any payment due on your Home Equity Line of Credit for 90 days by contacting your Private Banker or by calling toll-free 1-866-SIGLINE (1-866-744-5463).

  • You may request a forbearance[1] of any payment due on your residential mortgage for 90 days by contacting your Private Banker or by calling toll-free 1-866-SIGLINE (1-866-744-5463). For a forbearance of any payment due on your commercial mortgage, we are willing to work with you on a case-by-case basis if you are experiencing financial hardship.  Please call our CRE team at 631-861-2760 or email CRE-Fingerman@signatureny.com.

  • If your residential or commercial property is subject to foreclosure between March 20, 2020 and April 19, 2020, foreclosure on your property will be suspended for 90 days and extended for 60 days beginning June 20, 2020.[2]

  • The creditor and issuer of credits cards is Elan Financial Services. For any credit card related COVID-19 hardship inquiries, please contact Elan Financial Services directly:

    •  For consumer credit cards: 1-800-558-3424
    • For business credit cards: 1-866-552-8855 (Note: Elan Financial will only speak with an authorized officer or authorized representative as specified for the account). 
  • Effective May 1, 2020, we have temporarily suspended the enforcement of the restriction that limits you to six (6) automatic and electronic withdrawals from your Monogram Insured Money Market Deposit Accounts per statement cycle through to September 30, 2020. This temporary suspension is intended to allow you more convenient access to your funds.  If the temporary suspension is extended beyond September 30, 2020, we will update this notice accordingly.

Clients impacted by COVID-19 are encouraged to contact their Private Banker for dedicated assistance to discuss how we may be able to assist based on your individual or small business needs.
